The Ramgarh Vishdhari Sanctuary in Rajasthan became notified as India's 52nd tiger reserve on Monday, Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav said.
This is Rajasthan's fourth tiger reserve after Ranthambore, Sariska and Mukundra.
"Pleased to word Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve has been notified today. The 52nd Reserve of India will preserve biodiversity and produce in ecotourism and improvement to the location. Under the management of PM Narendra Modiji, we're devoted to keeping our wildlife," Yadav tweeted.
The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) had given in-precept approval to make Ramgarh Vishdhari Wildlife Sanctuary and adjacent regions a tiger reserve on July five remaining year.
"The newly notified tiger reserve consists of the tiger habitat among Ranthambore Tiger Reserve withinside the northeast and Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve at the southern facet and enables dispersal of tigers from Ranthambore Tiger Reserve," Yadav tweeted.

Wild animals like Indian wolf, leopard, striped hyena, sloth bear, golden jackal, chinkara, nilgai and fox may be visible withinside the Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve.
According to "Status of Tigers in India" document launched in 2019, there are 2,967 tigers in 20 states throughout the country.
