New Delhi: Exactly 23 years ago, Pakistani troops and terrorists started out large-scale infiltration into the Indian territory alongside the Line of Control (LoC). Hundreds of Pakistan Army's soldiers and jihadists intruded into the mountainous location of Jammu and Kashmir's Kargil district. Over 500 Indian infantrymen laid down their lives to store our motherland. Over 3,000 Pakistani infantrymen and terrorists have been killed at some point of the war.
